Geographically, Abruzzo
is divided into a mountainous
area in the west and a coastal area in the east with
beaches on the Adriatic Sea. The Alpacafarm is
located in San Vicenzo-Cechiara, where you can
sleep in a holiday home surrounded by olive trees.
Enjoy the Abruzzo countryside and the outdoor life
with a marvellous view of the mountains and the sea,
less than a 3-hour drive from Rome and 45 minutes
from Pescara, a major port on the Adriatic Sea.
Abruzzo is the home to the Gran Sasso d'Italia
'Great Rock of Italy') of the Apennine Mountains
within the Monti della Laga National Park. Abruzzo
borders the region of Marche to the north, Lazio to
the west and south-west, Molise to the south-east, and
the Adriatic Sea to the east.
