The newly-launched Erasmus+ program
will have more resources to support youth,
education, training and sports. With an
estimated budget of €26.2 billion, Erasmus+
in 2021-2027, will fund mobility (70%) and
cooperation projects / policy development
activities (30%) towards supporting the
priorities set out in the European Education
Area, the Digital Education Action Plan and
the European Skills Agenda. Additionally, it
will support the European Pillar of Social
Rights, implement the EU Youth Strategy
2019-2027 and develop European dimensions
in sport.
Furthermore, Erasmus+ funded projects will focus on social inclusion, green and digital transformation, and young people's civic participation, as well as the new Small-scale Partnerships scheme.
