Italy's premier professional institute for agriculture sciences
has opened its entrepreneurship training classes for the public.
Here, you will learn the ins and outs of developing an idea into

a successful entrepreneurial venture. The Istituto d'Istruzione

Antonio Cecchi is situated on 20 hectares of orchards and groves

that support a 10-year record of training for acquiring skills and mindsets required for the journey toward successful entrepre-

neurship, with agrifoods their specialty. This history relies on

having successfully guided students to produce wine and vinegar

from the campus' harvest. This same learning process is now open to engage people of all ages who have an idea for a product or service that meets a market need in any sector or field. Peruse the courses

offered on the campus of Persaro's architectural gem, Villa Caprile.



WORKSHOPS AND COURSES





Classes are held at Villa Caprile, the home of the Italian Agricultural Technical Institute.
A former cardinal's residence built in 1640, Villa Caprile also hosts
open-air theater and cultural events during the summer.
Classrooms combine Renaissance-era frescos with state-of-the-art ICTs for optimal learning opportunities. Stroll amongst the campus' manicured gardens that rival Versailles
to jump-start your creativity needed for the journey toward successful entrepreneurship!











The Entrepreneurial Mindset



Anyone can be an entrepreneur. This course allows participants to explore the entrepreneurial mindset and how to see the world as a set of opportunities - not obstacles - that add value and lift the human condition for those on the journey toward successful entrepreneurship.



The Power of Observation



Observation is key to successful innovation, sits at the core of entrepreneurship skillsets for developing insights and producing data that can lead toward the development phase of a product or service. Determine what potential clients need, what problem needs to be solved, and what alternatives are currently available.



Think Like A Traveler



Those who leave their hometown are exposed to new ideas and different ways of solving problems. Thinking like a traveler helps entrepreneurs view challenges from different perspectives that can have a positive impact on an entrepreneurial venture.



Creativity



IExercises on getting past temporary blocks in creative thinking to come up with new ways of looking at a familiar situation - or imagining an entirely new situation that might be a solution to a challenge by thinking out of the box



EntreComp Entrepreneurship Ed



EntreComp is the European Commission's framework for entrepreneurship education and training. It broadens the entrepreneurship definition to mean more than just starting a business - EntreComp promotes the process of creating value and acquiring the critical skills that contribute toward capacity building toward successful ventures in entrepreneurship.



Innovation



What is a vision and how do you aspire to achieve it? ASPIRE is an essential attribute that leads toward innovation, along with CHOOSE, DISCOVER, EVOLVE, SCALE, MOBILIZE. Being an entrepreneur is synonymous with being an innovator - one who can convert ideas into opportunities to create value. Includes design thinking as an approach to new product development that begins with understanding unmet customer needs - a human-centered design process that approaches problem-solving that encompasses concept development, applied creativity, prototyping and experimentation.




Problem Solving



Problem solving is an integral skill of being entrepreneurial and essential for design thinking that leads toward taking action. Being exposed to new and different perspectives, alternative viewpoints and learning by doing are essential to reflect upon and challenge our own way of thinking to prompt forward momentum and change needed to create solutions, which is basically what an entrepreneur does.



BHAGs - Big Hairy Audacious Goals



Seeking new, unconventional and radical potential solutions often lead to possible, practical, and applicable smaller steps that can actually accomplish goals. The BHAG thinking process is designed to open your mind to consider new possibilities for solutions to issues and challenges. ​



Messaging



An entrepreneur must tell business story in a way that all stakeholders, business owners, investors, employees, friends and families, the market, and customers can comprehend and accept. This includes thoughtful wording that conveys a clear concise definition of the initiative or business concept, mechanisms to get the message out, analysis of reach and impact.



The "Plans"



Entrepreneurs need to be precise in their written words. Whether it is a business plan, communication, dissemination or exploitation plan or assessment plan, words convey meaning, and meaning allows for actions. What startup backers care about is a profitable return on their investment. What stakeholders care about is solving significant problems, challenges and needs. What family and friends care about is seeing the entrepreneur succeed.
